The Hagen Fluval Edge 6 Gallon Aquarium is stunning. It offers cleaner lines and more style than every other product on the market. And allows you to view your fish clearly from above. The tank measures 16.9″ x 10.25″ x 14″ (L x W x H). It is available in black, white and pewter.

At 6500 K, the new generation LED light is over twice as powerful as before. This bright light helps plant growth and turns your aquarium into a visual masterpiece. It is also possible to toggle between day and night lighting at the touch of a button. It works off a wattage of 4.4, has 21 LEDs and produces 347 lumen.

The 6 gallon filter has a multi-stage filtation process. This includes mechanical, biological and chemical filtration. The filter also has an adjustable flow rate – perfect if you need to reduce the flow for fish who are used to quiet water.

This is a high quality tank which is easy to assemble. Although it is not cheap, the quality (and improved lighting) certainly make it an option to carefully consider for your next aquarium.

Fluval Edge 12 Gallon

The Fluval Edge 12 Gallon is a 6 sided, sealed glass aquarium. It comes with LED lighting and an easy to use Fluval Edge filter. The filter and lighting can be hidden in the decorative column. The tank measures 17.5″ x 10.25″ x 22.9″ (L x W x H) and is sometimes referred to as the Fluval cube. It is available in black and white.

The Fluval Edge aquarium were recently redesigned. At 6500 K, the new generation LED light is more powerful than before. This bright light helps plant growth and turns your aquarium into a visual masterpiece. It works off a wattage of 6.6, has 42 LEDs and produces 560 lumen. There is also feeding door to give you quick access to the aquarium.

This is a high quality tank which is easy to assemble. Although it is not cheap, the quality (and improved lighting) certainly make it an option to carefully consider for your next aquarium.

If you need a slightly bigger tank, it is worth making the step to either a 20 gallon fish tank or even a 29 or 30 gallon aquarium.

A replacement Fluval Edge filter. This can be used for both the 6 gallon and 12 gallon Aquariums. It is the same as the filter which comes with the original aquariums. It has a capacity of 100 gallons per hour (approx 378 liters per hour).

The filter runs quietly and is known for its durability. The only down side is that the filter is not self-priming. Certainly not the end of the world, but with so many self priming filters on the market today it would be preferable to not have to prime this one!

Fluval Edge Lighting

Both the 6 gallon and 12 gallon come with lighting pre-installed in their decorative columns. However, if you need a replacement, or want to add extra lights then it is possible to purchase the lighting separately as per below.
