HLC Series

The Finnex Planted+ 24/7 HLC series is available in 5 different sizes ranging from 20 inches to 48 inches in length. The HLC series is the slimmest of the 4 series and is less than 1/4 of a inch thick. The HLC provides a range of lighting options – full 8000K daylight as well as red, green and blue. It comes with a remote control and a built in sensor on the lighting unit.

It is possible to customize the lighting cycle over the 24 hour period including sunrise and sunset. Another nice feature is 4 different weather modes including cloudy and thunderstorm. The 24/7 feature allows you to transition your tank through the lighting cycles in line with the times of the day. This includes sunrise and sunset appearing from the top of your tank, as well as a starry moonlight setting.

The light itself has a moisture resistant coating but is not fully waterproof. There is a wireless remote control, which communicates with the lighting device via a built in sensor. It also has four weather modes, including an option to have a thunderstorm in your tank.

The Finnex Planted+ 24/7 CRV series is available in 5 different sizes ranging from 20 inches to 48 inches in length. This series is perhaps the pinnacle of the Planted+ 24/7 range. As with the previous models discussed it is possible to fully customize sunrise and sunset settings. There is a wireless remote included with the receiving sensor built into the lighting fixture.

As with the KLC and HLC series, the CRV series has daylight, red, green and blue LEDs. However, they also have true 660Nm Red LEDs. This spectrum of lighting helps to maximize photosynthesis, providing the optimal environment for your planted aquarium. Aside from the enhanced photosynthesis, this spectrum also provides a warming tone throughout your aquarium.

Unlike the other series, the Finnex Planted+ 24/7 ALC series is only available in 3 different sizes – 24 inches, 36 inches and 48 inches. Similar to the CRV series, the ALC series has daylight, red, blue and green LEDs as well as true 660Nm red LEDs. This lighting configuration allows your tank to go through the full 24 hour cycle. But you also have the option to use the 660Nm LEDs to maximize the photosynthesis within your planted tank. It is possible to switch in and out of the 24 hour modes easily using the remote control. The remote can also be used to choice from various weather features including thunderstorms.
